Roberts Liardon is an author, public speaker, spiritual leader, church historian, and humanitarian. He was called into the ministry at a very young age, preaching his first public sermon at the age of thirteen and lecturing in Christian colleges and universities at age fifteen. At sixteen, Roberts launched a radio program, and at seventeen, he wrote his first book, I Saw Heaven, which sold 1.5 million copies. His next book and video series, God's Generals, established Roberts as a leading Protestant church historian, and both books brought him international attention. In his mid-twenties, Roberts built one of the fastest growing churches in the US, and established his first accredited Bible college. From this ministry, he founded more than forty churches, built five international Bible colleges, and assisted the poor and needy in his community, throughout America, and around the globe. Recently, Roberts launched a new TV show called God's Generals with Roberts Liardon, which currently airs in more than two hundred countries. Roberts had the privilege of being mentored by Oral Roberts and Lester Sumrall, and now he is under the covering of both Dr. Che Ahn of Harvest International Ministry and Pastor Colin Dye of Kensington Temple, London, England. As a recognized church historian specializing in the Pentecostal and charismatic movements, he is much in demand as a speaker, writer, and mentor. His voice speaks to a current generation of believers who want to draw closer to the heart and mind of God and impact their communities and the nations of the world through the gospel of Jesus Christ. |
