Debbie Salter Goodwin has made ministry to children and families a focus in her writing and speaking. Author of The Praying Parent and Empowering Your Child Who Has Special Needs, she has also authored six children's drama resources. She lives in Beaverton, Oregon, where her husband pastors Portland First Church of the Nazarene. Their adult daughter, Lisa, reminds them constantly of the importance of discipling.
