Ray Morton (Los Angeles, CA) is the author of King Kong: The History of a Movie Icon from Fay Wray to Peter Jackson; Close Encounters of the Third Kind: The Making of Steven Spielberg's Classic Film; and Amadeus: Music on Film. A graduate of New York University and Pepperdine University, Morton is a senior writer and columnist for Script magazine and also works in Hollywood as a story consultant and script analyst.
