One of the things we believe here at NIGHTMARE is that stories have a tremendous power. They can help us explore new ideas. They can inspire us, and in terrible situations, they can encourage and even comfort us. This month, original story "The Night Princes" (from Megan Arkenberg) takes us to a war zone, where a potter and a group of scared children spend a long night telling stories. In her new story "The Taurids Branch," Alanna J. Faelan also tackles the way we use stories in hard times, exploring the nature of truth and lies in a terrifying apocalypse.
