God loves little children, yet too often our children are overlooked, abused, neglected, and rejected. Time out for overlooking our children! We as parents have an obligation to train up our children under the instructions of God (Ephesians 6:4, NIV). If we do not train up our children in a Godly manner, someone else will raise them up in an ungodly manner. With a child's heart, our children are reaching out for their parent's love, guidance, encouragement, and approval. This fictional story concerning a 10 year old girl raised up in a dysfunctional family is a splendid example of what may have happened if someone else had not stepped in. Her desires and dreams became a reality upon being introduced to a friend, who came to love, encourage, and introduced her to God the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. This friend taught her the significance of God's Love and Power as exhibited in the Story of "Talitha Cumi". Although this little girl faced challenges in her family; by the Grace and Mercy of God, and through His Agape Love, she experienced victory. The moral of this story is for all to embed love, trust, joy, peace, security, contentment, and most importantly to speak "Talitha Cumi" regarding triumph over our children's future endeavors.
