Maleeh was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. She began writing at the age of 8 years old. It was at that time she won first place in a writing contest with her short story titled, Me and My Shadow. Her passion for reading, writing, and rhyming began after her grandmother introduced her to a collection of Dr. Seuss' books. She enjoys using vivid imagery when writing as a way to entice the readers senses and imagination.
