The process of bringing about organizational development demands focus on Individual development and behaviour modification. Dimensions like role efficacy, role stress and coping with role stress are an integral part of work life of an individual which have an impact on individual development and growth and which in turn impacts organizational development. Efficacy is potential effectiveness and Role Efficacy is the core aspect of individual¿s growth in the manner in which they perform their role and live upto the varying demands and challenges of the role. Role efficacy of individual role incumbents impacts their performance in organizations and its development. It is required at all levels and across all industry types. This study has focused on the influence of the reciprocal relationship of factors such as like role efficacy, role stress and coping with role stress and was conducted on women entrepreneurs and women executives from several industries across India.
