Dr. R. Ramesh is Professor in the department of mechanical engineering, PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Production Engineering from National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, India. An experienced academician with over 20 years of teaching experience, he has published over twenty research articles in conferences and reputed international journals which have cumulatively received in excess of 200 citations. His research interests are geometric dimensioning, tolerance analysis, tolerance allocation, composites manufacturing and optimization techniques. Dr. Ramesh is pursuing a research project on co-continuous composites for ballistic applications in collaboration with UNSW, Canberra, Australia. This project is sponsored by SPARC, MHRD, Government of India . He is also a life member of ISTE, New Delhi. Dr. A. S. Prasanth is Assistant Professor in the department of mechanical engineering, PSG College of Technology, India. He received his Master's in Industrial Engineering from Wayne State University, USA and Ph.D. from Anna University, India. He has published about twenty research articles spanning the domains of industrial engineering, fabrication of composites, frictional behavior and 3D printing. He is a recognized Chartered Engineer by the Institution of Engineers (India).
Dr. M. S. Shunmugam was Professor (Emeritus) in the Manufacturing Engineering Section in the department of mechanical engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. After receiving his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras in 1976, he served in IIT Bombay (from 1977 to 1980) and in IIT Madras from 1980 onwards. He was a visiting faculty member at Michigan Technological University during 1989-1991 and was a member of the Board of governors of IIT Madras during 2012-2013. Dr. Shanmugam's research interests include metrology, machine tools, manufacturing, gears, micro-machining and computer applications in manufacturing. He has published about 130 peer-reviewed international journal papers, 15 peer-reviewed national journal papers, 75 international conference papers and about 80 national conference papers.
Dr. Biswanath Doloi is currently serving as Professor in the department of production engineering at Jadavpur University, India. He has over two decades of teaching and research experience. Dr. Doloi's research is focused on non-traditional machining, hybrid machining, micromachining, and laser-based manufacturing. He has written several book chapters and published articles in acclaimed international journals. He has guided 19 research scholars and is a member of IE (India), ISTE and IET, UK. |
