The author is a retired elementary school teacher of thirty-nine years, the last twenty-two as a kindergarten teacher. One of her favorite parts of teaching was reading books to young children complete with props and dramatic voices. It thrills her to see the excited and entranced looks on the children's faces. She writes books to delight and engage young potential and budding readers.
