Strong and successful, Azalea lacked a man in her life but had everything else. She was terrified of the water due to a traumatic event she experienced as a young child, but she also felt that the water had always called to her. She also didn't fear the ocean because of the enigmatic man who saved her life as a high school student.

However, Azalea found herself in a difficult situation when her research's funding was turned down.
