The soul is a divine connection given in all justice by God to Adam and Eve's offspring after the fall so that their lower nature will be subjected to their spiritual self and thus united and submissive to His higher Spirit.

This divine spiritual body, our soul, has the secret code to God's guidance and protection -the Holy Spirit- imprinted in our hearts, and we can use it to go beyond the doors of paradise and into the kingdom of our Father in Heaven.

Satan knows this and is aware that the authentic followers of Christ will inherit the presence of God that he rejected, and also the kingdom from which he and his fallen angels were expelled, never to enter again, so he wants to ruin God's plans by destroying our souls.

He constantly attacks our lower nature with all types of worldly temptations destined to rob our energy and diminish our intelligence, spiritual insight, and motivation to obey the will of God.

His objective is to blind and weaken our souls so he can destroy them.

No matter how hard he and his human demons try, they can't win against the power nor dispel the light and protection Jesus Christ offers us through the Holy Spirit.

Sanctifying grace is light and what we ultimately need is divine grace, to overcome these dangers to our soul.

Jesus is the light of the world and is full of grace and truth and following Him we will never walk in darkness because our souls will be resting in His heart.
