Michael Dylan Rogers is Assistant Professor of Liberal Arts at Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon, a constituent college of Willamette University. His research focuses on the history of modern political thought and philosophies of knowledge, and he teaches a variety of courses that combine themes of history, philosophy and politics.
He holds a PhD in History from Cambridge University, where his dissertation explored the intersection of ideas about science and politics in German-language philosophical literature during the period between the World Wars. His work in this vein has been published in the journal Modern Intellectual History and in the SAGE Encyclopedia of War: Social Science Perspectives, as well as presented by invitation at Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard, and the University of London's School of Advanced Study.
