Jacqueline Goodnow (1924-2014) was Professor of Behavioural Science at Macquarie University, Sydney, and the author of a number of important books in child development and education. Carole Pateman was a Reader in Government at the University of Sydney and had published a wide range of books and articles in political and social theory.
