Wayne Stewart has been a professional sportswriter for more than thirty-five years, working for such publications as USA Today, Baseball Weekly, and the SABR Research Journal. He is author of more than forty books, including Name that Ballplayer, You' re the Umpire, and The New Book of Baseball Trivia. Originally from Donora Pennsylvania (the same hometown as Stan Musial), Stewart currently resides in Amherst, Ohio, with his wife Nancy.
