When Iris becomes terribly unwell due to an unknown illness, she finds herself in need of help. She doesn't expect that help to come from a reaper-like monster named Dusk who lives in the woods surrounding her village. Despite his terrifying appearance, Dusk is determined to care for Iris. As she remains under his protection, her body-and her heart-begin to respond to him in ways she never anticipated.
