Carol Rosenhain is a Melbourne writer and historian. Educated at Monash University, she has spent many years teaching English and History at the senior secondary level, and has served as Head of English at Genazzano FCJ College as well as a State Examiner in VCE English. Her published works include South Africa: From Settlement to Self-Determination (with Jill Fenwick), The Art of Paul Margocsy, The Man Who Carried the Nation's Grief: James Malcolm Lean and the Great War Letters, The Men Behind the Myth: The Fighting Leanes of Prospect, and Military Vignettes: A Collection of Australian War Stories.
Carol is a regular speaker at Probus, Rotary and historical society events, and was a prize-winner in the 2015 RSL WWI Centenary Short Story Competition.

Peter Newbury is a Melbourne writer and historian. A graduate of the University of Melbourne, he served for many years as Head of the History Department at Melbourne Grammar School, where he shaped the study of modern and Australian history for generations of students. He now lectures with U3A, presenting courses on Melbourne Walks and the ever-popular field of espionage history.
