Why is it always the rebels that never want to conform?
Insurrection is always the reaction from a people who have endured being pent up for too long, and this was a fact soon to be discovered by the Zebral Koalas. However, an insurrection needs soldiers, and those in turn need provisions, and these would be provided by The Subsistencers.
For Tobias Caveson, joining the insurrection as a Subsistencer was chance to prove himself a man, and to go on an adventure at the same time. However, the adventure that he will experience may not be what he had in mind.
As he embarks on his new position in the ranks of the Rebel Koalas, he will face many challenges, and have encounters with both friends and enemies, and there is always the elusive Alsie, who seems to be neither one nor the other.
Can the fervent hatred between the Rebel Koalas and Zebral Koalas ever be abated? Will they ever find a resolution to their conflict?
Only time will tell.
