About the Author: Christine Ann Gowey is an educator and mother of 4 in Sparta, Wisconsin. She has a B.A. in education. She has been a high school women’s athletic director and track coach, an elementary school substitute teacher and PTO president. She actively supports children’s extra-curricular programs and helped start a children’s swim lesson scholarship program.

About the Illustrator: Andi Kleinman is a freelance graphic designer in Flagstaff, Arizona. Her career spans advertising and illustration for entities such as Babbitts Department Stores, the USDA Forest Service and the Flagstaff Festival of Science. Her illustrations have been published in Rabbits: Gentle Hearts, Valiant Spirits. She makes award-winning recycled mixed-media dolls.

About Dr. B: Dr. Brandie Gowey, NMD is a Naturopathic physician in Flagstaff, Arizona. She has a Botany/Conservation Biology degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. She specializes in identifying and treating the causes of disease, formulating Naturopathic remedies and is the author of Your Cervix (Just) Has a Cold.
