From tossing newspapers on a bike in Germantown, Tennessee, to leading multimillion-dollar fundraising campaigns, Kevin Roper has always been driven by a mix of hustle, humor, and heart. His early work with Kroger inspired a national food bank program-today known as "Zero Hunger, Zero Waste"-and launched a 35-year career in healthcare, higher education, and philanthropy. Along the way, he raised over $1 billion to support hospitals, universities, and nonprofits across the Mid-South and Midwest. Kevin has also shared his expertise as a teacher, consultant, and policy advisor, but at the center of it all are the stories that shaped him as a boy with a paper route.
