Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. And God has greatly blessed America in the last 250 years. He has established her and grounded her with the traditional conservative values of God, family, and country. The early Pilgrims and settlers immigrated to America to escape religious persecution, oppression, and poverty. They desired to build a better life for themselves and their posterity. They built this nation with courage, grit, and determination, and they built it on the foundation of the Bible, God's Holy Word, and on their Judeo-Christian values.
Today, these values are being attacked as we enter the last days before the return of Christ. Many worldwide are being persecuted for their faith, but we are instructed to hold fast to the end.
The Declaration of Independence proclaims that "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." This is the continuing story of America's fight for life, liberty, and justice for all as she celebrates her 250th anniversary. May God bless our nation once again and keep her strong in the face of current events. In the words of the Pledge of Allegiance, may America truly become "one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
