Lisa C. Krueger, PhD, MFA, is a clinical psychologist. She is the author of five previous collections of poetry, including most recently, Floriography Child (Red Hen Press, 2023). Her poems and essays have appeared widely in journals that include Alaska Quarterly Review, Ploughshares, Poetry International, The Writers' Chronicle, LitHub, and Psychology Today, and was featured on The Slowdown with Tracy K. Smith. Her work has been a finalist for numerous prizes and received the Poetry International Prize in 2025. She maintains a therapy practice in Pasadena.
