The Way of Jesus, God-Man and Savior applies the Socratic method to the four Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The Socratic method is a form of dialogue based on questions and answers to stimulate thinking and to attain deeper knowledge and understanding of the real world.

By using the Socratic approach to the Gospel message of Jesus' teachings, healings, death, and resurrection, a wide audience of adults and youth may grasp more fully the Way of Jesus' message of repentance and forgiveness of sins for the salvation of humankind. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life" (John 3:16).

After a prayerful reading of the Gospel chapters, questions and insights are offered on clusters of the readings that will certainly not begin to exhaust the spiritual dimensions of the mystery of God and His ways. The aspiration of this approach is to provide a more profound understanding of the revelation of God to man in the inspired, written words of Scripture.

The result of bringing into play the Socratic approach to the Gospels is not merely to enhance knowledge of the Word of God, but to engage the minds and souls of Christians and other peoples in discerning and following the teachings of Jesus Christ for the purpose of reaching eternal life.
