Andrew Ingkavet is an author, educator, illustrator, and entrepreneur dedicated to transforming childhood through music. He is the creator of the internationally acclaimed Musicolor Method®, a revolutionary approach to teaching music that uses color, story, and structure to unlock confidence, focus, and creativity in children. A former MTV-Asia VJ turned composer and creative director, Andrew has scored for film, theater, and television, and his work has been featured in The Telegraph and the International Herald Tribune. He is also the illustrator of Superpowers Through Music, bringing the Musicolor Method's playful characters and ideas vividly to life. Andrew is the author of the Piano for Kids series, which has sold thousands of copies worldwide. Today, he leads a team of twenty-plus teachers at Musicolor.nyc, trains educators globally, and speaks on the power of music as a tool for lifelong learning. He lives in Brooklyn, New York, with his wife and son.
