No romance in heaven? Say it isn't so!
There is a passage in the New Testament which has conventionally been interpreted by the church to mean that there will be no romantic love in heaven. In You Whom My Soul Loves, Jesh St. John takes an exhaustive look at the whole biblical message about romantic love as it pertains to the Christian reader's hope for their eternal future. He establishes some key biblical arguments and analyzes several passages to support his position that the conventional interpretation of this passage contradicts the plain and simple message of the rest of the text, and therefore should be brought in line with the rest of scripture. He then proposes a simple and theologically-sound alternative interpretation which brings the passage in line with the rest of scripture.
